    Utilitarianism can be seen as having dualistic elements because it categorizes experiences and actions in terms of binary opposites like pleasure/pain, happiness/unhappiness, and utility/disutility. ChatGPT ❤🎉 Yes, the simplest method for a utilitarian to know about others' happiness or well-being is simply to ask them. ChatGPT

    Advances in education, technology, and access to information have undoubtedly contributed to the development of certain cognitive skills and intellectual capacities among modern humans.

  • @Ramkumar-uj9fo

    The modern human is largely "created." While biological birth is a fundamental aspect of human existence, the complex interplay of social, cultural, environmental, and individual factors significantly shapes modern human identity and development. These external influences play a crucial role in shaping beliefs, values, behaviors, and societal structures, contributing to the multifaceted nature of human existence. Therefore, the term "created" better captures the diverse influences that shape the modern human experience beyond mere biological birth.

    . Indeed, in India, Google has generally been more trusted and less perceived as opposing the market compared to Apple

  • @Ramkumar-uj9fo
    @Ramkumar-uj9fo 4 месяца назад

    In India, the perception of trust in technology companies might differ due to various cultural, regulatory, and market factors. However, here's a rough estimate of how trust in FAANG companies might have evolved: 1. Google: Google's search engine, email service, and Android operating system have become integral parts of daily life for many Indians, earning it a high level of trust for providing reliable information and essential services. 2. Apple: Apple's iPhones and other products are often seen as symbols of quality and status in India, contributing to a sense of trust among consumers who value premium technology and design. 3. Amazon: Amazon's expansion into the Indian market with e-commerce services, as well as its investments in logistics and digital content, has earned it trust among consumers looking for convenient shopping experiences. 4. Facebook (now Meta): Despite occasional controversies related to privacy and misinformation, Facebook and its associated platforms like WhatsApp have become essential communication tools for many Indians, contributing to a level of trust among users. 5. Netflix: While Netflix's streaming service is gaining popularity in India, it might not have the same level of trust or impact on daily life as other FAANG companies due to factors like language barriers, content preferences, and competition from local streaming platforms. Again, this ranking is based on general perceptions and could vary based on individual experiences and opinions in the Indian context.

    Where does disability fit into transhumanism? I see electric wheelchairs as good examples of people-extenders but also people can be other peoples people-extenders in a way. And people are required to make the machines as of today in factories so it’s a human product, an extension of humanity. I think disability is what blows up transhumanism and brings out the ugly.
