For a named unit pls do whatever number of the unit but add "de chasseurs fumeurs". Example 420e bataillon de chasseurs fumeurs. Use them aggressively either ahead of the Column de attack or on its flank in support 😁

This battle with Pirates Uber Alles would look way different. In my opinion, it is the best Empire mod because its more stable than Darthmod

This video reminds me of 'The Last Samurai.' The film is loosely based on the Satsuma Rebellion of 1877. Ken Watanabe's character, Katsumoto, is based on Saigo Takamori. The final battle in the film represents the Battle of Shiroyama, the last stand of the Samurai where they are outnumbered 60 to 1. Like Katsumoto, Takamori had five hundred men, who, unlike the film, did use firearms until they ran out of ammunition. Like this video, the new Imperial Army was outfitted and trained by the West. They also had modern cannon and gunboats. So, unlike the film, the real battle was pretty one-sided. Like the film, Takamori was mortally wounded and committed seppuku. The last forty of his men committed a final charge right into the Imperial lines, and are gunned down. Effectively putting an end to the battle and the rebellion. Today, Takamori is revered as a hero in Japan, as a keeper of the old ways.

Ending with the Russian general getting chased off by cavalry was perfect.

Minecraft is better in my opinion.

Musket accuracy seems way too low. Even when enemy formation is just 10-20 meters away they seem to kill too few.

Wow the bayonets actually look like bayonets and not a giant block with a sharp end.

The M Henry rifle had a flaw when it came to shooting vast amount of ammunition. The bullet rounds were soft and when the rifle over heated due to the amount of firing it was difficult to eject the empty casings from the breech and the soldiers had to use their bayonets to dig them out. Additionally the amount of carbon build in the rifling would also lead to stoppages.

Do you know why the default infantry formations are in these weird two lines thing? I’ve played this mod before earlier this year and it looked more like vanilla Napoleon but in closer order
