I'm a Light Main that hates Lights lol. I want my team to win and will support them as best as I can, and will also switch roles if a better Light is on my team, or the enemy team comp and play style means I should switch. But goddamn, the amount of Lights who live to die, 4 kills 12 deaths, is too damn fucking high lol.

I've spent a little over $110 on this game, it more than deserves it 💯

All I need is a actual broad player base and maybe a very fast respawn closeish quarters game mode

The best argument in this video is fomenting the sandbox aspect of the game. Most games that give you more liberties are the ones that will stay in your mind the longest (i.e. minecraft)

Can't agree with the balancing change of light, medium and heavy. 50 hp difference is too low and the speed change would just make everyone play heavy at that point. Heavy is already very powerful, so are the other classes. You just gotta figure out what works and what doesn't. Even when you do, it changes with every match because each player uses different gadgets, specializations and tactics. You can't know what to expect, you just have to adapt. For example, I main Medium and 90% of the times I use "Model" for fighting, since it is a powerful weapon that can 1shot lights with an additional punch. Basically making it anti light, which I find great! It's a matter of what weapon you choose that fights another class more efficiently, just like the gadgets and specializations. Weapons shouldn't be too similar to each other, as at that point you would just choose a mid-long range weapon that can do that same damage on all distances.

PEAK GAME! And yes, agreed. I want to see the next "level" of the events in the finals. The chaos is what makes the game The Finals. We need more events like the alien invasion and that boom when you die like you said.

The Final sis really fun, I've been playing since open Alpha and I have invested the past year to playing it. The only problem is when I get stunned by three lights using shotguns, otherwise really fun.

The Finals it's reason for fun, not for "Farm money" from players.. At the same time, the game is EXACTLY about GETTING money

"The Finals" chose probably the best style, in which you can simply use any theme, and it will fit perfectly

As someone who is pretty crap at fps games, i usually dont play them very much anymore. This game adds so many ways to help your team strategically that it still makes me feel like i can be useful while not going nuts on kills. Ive now dropped a ton of time into this game and regret nothing. Insanely fun

Personally, I agree with pretty much every point you mentioned, but I believe you left out a critical negative aspect about the game. I find this community (ESSPECIALLY Reddit) to be unbearably negative and completely incapable of making valid points regarding balance. As an example, I hate light, both to fight and to play, but for me, light is clearly the weakest class due to simply being unable to realistically compete with other body types in any category except for speed range (sorta). This community will insult and barate anyone with this belief without looking at facts or using any logic. This applies to a lot of other balance discussions as well. Something that this does that impacts the game directly is that it sways the balance the game takes pretty significantly as the devs listen to a lot of community feedback.

Love the game just the weapon variety throws the balance into wack. Partially with the gimmick weapons not in other FPS shooters like the melee ones. While they are not OP in any sense they are straight up not fun. Because of their lack of range they destroy anything in CQC basically regardless of skill, and lose elsewhere. If you are fighting against them its just not fun because the outcome will always be they are at range and either you melt them or they dip into cover before you do so, or they got in your face (its easy with the amount of environmental modifications you can do in this game) and there is nothing you can do to win the fight.

Also!! The mid season patch has changed the balance of the game between ranked and regular game modes which helps a lot!! I do think the battle passes should be no deadline and there should 4-5 events per match in casual

The one thing I’ll never forgive myself for is not grinding the full season 2 battle pass out and getting the roulette wheel Lewis gun. It was the whole reason I got the pass in the first place but there were major issues with balance back then. Now I’m playing the game every single day over anything because it feels fun to play and satisfying to grind. (Still thinking about that gun every single day tho😭)

This game is the future! Creativity, mobility, strategy, you name it. it has it all.

Lights are an anomaly, because I feel its a balance of people complaining about lights being to op, and then also vice versa. I'm no where near the best player, I'm literally in the 5k kill bracket with 6k deaths. For me personally I don't think lights are that to hard deal with, only exception is dash swords are a bit tricky. My most wins are on lights, they're the only gold class win badge I have, however I've started to play heavy and medium more (both silver win badges now). They can definitely compete with lights just by having a health adv. It's speaking the obvious, but the best way to tackle any struggles against opposition is literally just playing like a team. In that sense, I think for the most part the game is finely tuned this season, and usually coordinating as a team gets you the easy W. I'm usually duo stack cos we don't have a consistent online 3rd friend (sometimes we got friends who will play but most of the time we're a duo), I feel like a lot of people play solo, or a lot of people who struggle with the game play solo. Not saying solo can't carry but it significantly more harder as a 1 man than a team. If people weren't so toxic, I think we'd get more mics and open comms when playing with randoms, this can lead to squads ups and future Ws. Tbf this all from a world tour take, I'm E4 atm I think and once I've hit E1 I'll move onto rank. Maybe rank is completely different and just not a fun time but I'll see for myself when I get there. I do hear there's a lot of sweaty light in QC, ppl should just play WT, its basically casual rank. No points lossed when losing, its why I try to hit max rank on there first before rank. Just time consuming.

Some hopefully helpful criticism. Your tone is very monotone and sounds dead. Try to vary the pitch in places. The content and editing is good just scripting and voice over and it's golden.

I like some of these ideas but the one idea where you wanted to squish the three classes together and make the difference less is horrid, because this game is only thriving due to it's diversity and creativity by making all classes effectively function the same it kills that. There is no solution for toxicity as game devs cannot fully control a players behavior the only true solution is to get up and deal with it, or play with friends not randoms.

I’m so sick of the same thing over and over again, The Finals really is a breath of fresh air. My take is to give it a try, it’s free and you don’t lose anything if you don’t end up liking it
