Sue was my support worker, she was the first person I came into contact with within services and I can put my hand on my heart and say she saved my life. I’m almost 2 years sober but she still calls me to check in. The love and thanks I have for this woman will never feel enough! I’m so proud of her ❤
Amazing so so proud of you to be able to do that x

Karen is just that........a shining light
I remember being shut down when talking about neurodiveristy both on the lived experience panel at Gambling Commission but in and around the gambling harm debate as well. Neurodiveristy has been entirely overlooked in the White Paper imo. It's very disheartening.
Very informative and thought provoking podcast well done guys
Well done Tony another fantastic podcast thanks for you vulnerability x
Incredibly moving and inspiring.
Grounded and surrounded. Phillip is a top bloke and is the epitome how working on your yourself constantly reaps rewards
Love,.care & compassion (talked about that in a comment about a different Epic podcast with Nathan) - really important to create that environment in recovery. Another very interesting journey , thanks for sharing Jenny, very inspiring and much power to you.
Thanks for sharing you vulnerability x
Beautiful journey Jen, thank you for leading the way ❤
Interesting podcast and thanks to Nathan for sharing his story. The one thing that jumped out at me is having the family support, love and care (Nathan moved back home for 18 months) , that is such a big thing. Otherwise you're really struggling to keep head above water battling all these demons. I've repeatedly tried to ask for help, reach out to people who live a life that I aspire too, and it hasn't worked for me yet. I'm talking in terms of moving my life forward (not the addiction itself) as with everything circumstances, environment are a huge factor. I'm in a much better place today and I am very grateful to certain people who show me love and care but in terms of moving forward with purpose still a way to go yet. Well done to Nathan and more power to him in living a great life. 🎉
I’m one of the lads in his kitchen that can now make a Hollandaise and just have to say I’ve got nothing but respect for Nathan, spectacular bloke with so much to give for his workmates and family
Well done Nathan and thank you so much for your example of how this works one day at a time my friend ✌️🩵
Fantastic podcast Nathan...... tha ks for sharing you vulnerability xx
I think it’s important to understand that a very high percentage of psychologists and psychotherapists have also had the Lived experience of trauma that drew them into that particular profession. They also realise the benefit of going through therapy and want to give back in the same way. Your story is powerful and will help so many understand what kind of life is possible for them too.
