Easy walk is also a good brand can fit any body shapes….i have one looks like whippet
Get a harness with a pocket and put a good gps tracker. Mine run through the woods, but they come back eventually. It's nice to know where they are. I have had one get stuck on thorns and just sit there deep in the woods. The other dog will lead you to them also of you just follow them.

I'm really not sure what home renovations and repairs have to do with getting a new puppy - but I do admire your young dog. We've had our new whippet for about 10 weeks, and he's more adorable every day.
fair point, It was meant to be a Vlog but i was new to film making at the time. The small kitchen renovation was mainly to stop the slug infestation which can be harmful to dogs. Whippets are amazing aren't they? I'm so pleased for you.

i didnt watch the whole video, but please wait 6-8 weeks to take your puppy home because it could lead to them not being properly socialised, and they don't get feedback on how rough they're playing from their littermates if they're bought too early.
I think maybe Jasper is more of a hotel sort of guy. 😂 Tents are beneath him.

@@skatepark02 Lee, I am sorry I forgot to mention this. As a long time dog owner (including greyhounds!) - some dogs just never do well in the car. Two things help: first, get one of the high seats for dogs, and you put him in that so he is high enough to look out. Keeps them from getting ill. Keep fresh air coming in the window. PLUS (I'm a licensed veterinary nurse btw) give him a little Benadry (Diphenhydramine) about 20-30 minutes before you leave in the car. The canine dose is 2-4 milligrams per kilo of the dog's body weight, up to 3 x daily. If he is about 12 kg, you would be looking at a dose of between 25-45 mg at a time. (Note: this IS indeed higher than a human dose; barring other health issues, dogs do quite well with it. They don't even get drowsy.) Benadry helps with motion sickness / allegies like to grass or insect bites / and mild sedation for a stress situation. I just wrap it up in a little bread and pop it right in their mouths.

Totally agree with your thoughts about getting a male puppy and not a rescue. Your breeder sounds ideal and it is great that she got you off to a good start with Jasper. There are a lot more whippets in Great Britain than in the US

He was £650 if I remember rightly. But nowadays they are a lot more. I think around £1,200

Not a breeder I’m afraid. They were just a family who had a litter of puppies.
Beautiful little puppy. I used to breed and show whippets, and I still have one now. They are the most beautiful dogs, good temperament and are a very strong healthily breed of dogd and not much trouble at all.I bet you get another one lol, you could have a dozen of them. I am 76. Your video took me back to age 21 when I took a Whippet home. I remember so much of those first days. I am a bit melancholy right now because after a,l this time I still miss him. Enjoy every moment. I envy you and I wish all three of you the very best and warm thoughts.

I always buy Purebred (AKC) Dogs when they are older….when their show & Breeding days are over….older Dogs are so much easier & once they settle in they are the most devoted - no different than a Puppy & the extra benefit - you see what you are buying - a Puppy is an unknown quantity. No matter the Breed most Dogs are wonderful, devoted Family Members.. Cage is too small…I have never put my Family Dogs or Children in Cages. A Cage is not a Den …Cages never existed for Dogs..then one day someone put a Dog in a Cage & said let’s call it a Cave/Den 😂 & everyone bought a Dog Cage ….why !!!

Back around 85/86 I had an 18lb right by the church and the old man a 23 1/2 down towards the big turning bay at Dunn Mill which for many years I think were junior and senior records. Back then there was no spinning/lure fishing before September 1st but things must have changed.
I wasn't a fan of canal till Lee took me to Hungerford and not this is still my favourite piking place had loads of pike and may it continue

haha! yes. We've had this guy for 4 years now and that tail has definitely had me on several occasions! They're called Whippets for good reason.

Lovely! I Have a blue whippet puppy named Winnie she was a cute white patch in the middle of her chest like the older whippet I only got her a couple of months ago... She is SO loving after a long walk she comes and sits on me and gives me hugs when I get headaches (that happens a lot) If u are looking to buy a puppy I recommend a whippet or grey hound
