If anything, the canon for part 2 will be the scene if you wake up Aerith first . Because in the credits, regardless of the choice, this scene will be shown. So I advise you to watch the dream scene with Aerith on RUclips , because you won't see it that way , only in the credits an excerpt . This scene is simply gorgeous for those who know the original . And much better than a friendly scene with Tifa, which will be shown to you instead of this scene . I think they gave the choice here just for Tifa fans, because it's shown in every possible way that Cloud is in love with Aerith . Yes, and I think they should have shown both scenes, both with Tifa and with Aerith, because they dont contradict each other , the first is friendly , the second is romantic . And there is also a scene with Barette , but to get it, you dont need to do side quests , but also look at it on RUclips . If anything, this choice will affect the very beginning of chapter 14 . 3 different scenes
