Lol. This thing is illegal in all 50 states. I'm in the process of getting pedals on it and getting it more "legal" lol. Though, it does help that I pretty much live in the middle of nowhere, so I just ride around back roads.

NGK is BY FAR the best brand to use. If you are using a 2-stroke engine, I HIGHLY reccomend the NGK B7HS spark plug. Youll get both optimal performance and reliability out of that one on pretty much any 2-stroke motorized bike. Though, keep in mind that a lot of aftermarket cylinder heads have deeper/longer spark plug threads, so youll need to match up the thread "reach" with this chart: assets.sparkplugs.com/lc/NGK_Plug_Chart_1_web.jpg

I add an extra 8 oz of oil (24oz instead of the usual 16oz) and it has been great. Since it has been mounted vertically, it has been riden over 300 hours (my riding in addition to previous owner) and oil changes every 30 hours. I took it apart and rebuilt the engine just recently and the internals (including all the bearings, camshafts lobes, and lifters) are in SPOTLESS condition and NO signs of lack of lubrication by ANY means.

I would check out Amazon. The prices are usually about the same after you calculate shipping on all the other sites. Though, wherever you get one, I would for sure get one with the chain-drive transmission over the belt. Unlike the 49cc kits, there is not any difference between the performance of the belt-drive and chain drive, but the chain will deliver the power MUCH better and require less maintenance.

As for the frame, it is DEFINITELY worth piecing together one yourself instead of buying one pretty much completely pre-built. I do that in all my bikes and not only can you customize things to your liking, but you can also use higher quality parts than what are otherwise used for around the same price. Yeah, but this is the direction of the heads on the scooters. Doing it this way would hinder the air flow and cooling, but I did it anyway just so I could start my bike. I’m now using the CNC head and that works SUPER well
