Giving Back TV Podcast I E10 I Would you hunt with your spouse?
I have 30 years of living in Alaska and during those years my only income was from offering hunts for Yukon Moose and Brown bear hunts so when I seen those Marlin 336 deer guns and added to the fact, they are young green horn Knuckle heads into the RUclips groupie Parrot mouth fad of 45-70 I knew this wasn't going to go down well for the knuckle heads and the bear. Get a real Alaskan bear gun at a minimum of one of the 338 magnums or better yet a 375 magnum or some kind or a 416 Remington mag and better yet 416 Rigby. Using a weak 45-70 is like a fisherman using a trout rod for fishing marlin
Are you killing to eat or just for fun ?
Both. We have fun on every hunt and eat what we shoot.
doesn't look like he's doing too much of killing.
No kill on this hunt. It’s how it goes sometimes. We show hunts as they happen, kill or no kill.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, great job! So fun to watch 😊
Thank you 🤗
Nice hunt I had the same opportunity once very interesting to watch your show in what area in Botswana was this
😮

@@givingbacktv3269 I sure hope so it's great to see the young ones continuing our sport and especially the girls who love it like I do. Much ❤️ Joanne in the UK
Very well documented 👌 Just wondering how much it costs to hunt there?
Thank you. South Africa is very cost effective. Most plains game packages for 7 days with 5-7 animals will run between $6,000-$7,000 with a good outfitter.
@@givingbacktv3269 Aight thanks buddy
How many can one person take on a hunt .
It depends on how many tags are allocated in an area. Many clients take more than one buffalo on safari, while some take one. I can email information if you’d like.
Great hunt! Having unfortunately never hunted dangerous game myself, I´m not qualified to judge the PH, but it looked to me he really knows his job! But, seeing it from a complete different point of view, right before the shot, he made one very critical mistake, with might have caused the hole situation: On the last meters he took the hunters t-shirt, to lead him. This is a perfect way guide him silentently, for sure, but it has a fatal side-effect: By taking him "like a puppy" you crush a man´s self confidence! Without knowing it, he used one of the most effective methods of machiavellian, psychologic warefare technics I know!!! Because it is working on a subconscious level it it very hard to block, even if you notice it, and impossible if you don`t! This makes this trick a kind of" black magic", which I consider immora to usel, but you should noctice, when, if it´s used one you. At least, if you work in a high competitive, cut-throat environment... As I said, this is no offend! No way, someone, who is not deep into this specific psychological warfare-methodes ´could have known. And, without the side-effect, leading s.o. by taking a piece of his cloth, would be a genius method! But knowing it, it was a accident, waiting to happen: In the second he took his t-shirt, I was expecting this to go wrong... If "between the eyes" was the best advice in this angle I don`t know. but "Go for it!" was not, but I can understand that some hunters might be so overwhelmed, that they might forget to pull the trigger and need a little push! But "Shoot when ever you´re ready!" puts much less pressure on the shooter than "Now!!!" I really hope the PH reads my message! It looked to me, this behavior was already a habit. As I said, the idea behind it, would be great, if there wasn´t that secret side-effect... Most Hunters won´t notice it in these situations, but if s,o. has only the slightest doubt in his self, you will bring it out with this method, for sure! And any bad shot on dangerous game might be your last... Accept of this little incident, which clearly triggerd me a bit: I´d go huntig with him...
I want a 🐻!
We can help with that!
Why did you kill the animal??? 😢
Because we had a tag, we helped keep the numbers in check, fed people and raised money for conservation.
Aaaaarggg nee man Dis nie reg gedoen nie

A$$hole humans
Cool stories my buddy has been there probably 8 or 9 times one of his stories was they were wading across a river and there were crocodiles on the bank and he ask the guide should we be worried and he said you should be because there going to see your white legs before they see my black legs.
That’s funny!! 😂😂
How can I join that team
Why don’t you just give them the money? If you want to help the locals and environment then just donate. There is no need to kill an endangered animal. Especially an African elephant that’s critically endangered and male. The sex ratios caused by trophy hunting is linked to large amount of population decline simply because there’s not enough males to make the babies. I understand where this is coming from, but this could be handled in a way that doesn't involve killing anything.
To clarify, the elephant in Southern Africa is NOT endangered. Their populations are way too high, which has them causing major damage to the local ecosystem, & they’re destroying their habitat and the habitat of other animals. Reducing numbers is needed, and all this meat was also utilized.
@@givingbacktv3269 South African bush elephants are critically endangered. The majority of them happen to be in Botswana. However I’m glad the meat was used, but most bush meat from larger animals or animals high on the food chain are dangerous to eat. Also the destroying habitat, is primarily them knocking down trees, which is important for the many animals that take advantage of the much needed food source.
Beautiful cat and beautifully done. Congrats to Antonello.
Thank you! Appreciate the nice words and support
Hunting cat is on my bucket list!
Hey brothers, respectfully, this ain't the 80's.
While you were killing the elephant, did you ever think that there was a gun behind you, aiming at you? 你在殺大象的同時.你有沒有想過在你身後.有一支槍正在瞄準你?
Watch the show and you’ll learn some things son. Life isn’t all Hollywood and sitting behind a keyboard.

It’s more affordable than you think. Feel free to send your email address and I’ll forward information to you.
why did you kill the animal??? dart it and move it somewhere else if it was becoming a problem. this is a waste.
No it’s not a waste. Hunting is part of conservation and keeping the balance between predator and prey in areas.
That leopard was terrorizing a village.
He was indeed!
No one this out of shape should be able to kill anything, isnt an actual hunt when the odds are that much in you favor
You sound very judge mental. He walked over 20 miles that week, and never missed a beat.
Eat a dick he saved lives what have you done besides judge from behind a screen
How the fuck is this giving back lol
Good job!!
Thank you.
Oh wow i saw one of your scouts or trackers with a G3,. Excellent keep your employees safe.
Hunting for control
anyone who is proud of it has not understood the world and has no respect for nature and living beings... Then to claim that this would be species protection is the cheapest kind of excuse and shows that the person has not the slightest idea about species protection...
Anyone who spews emotional, uneducated comments clearly is more harmful than helpful to wildlife. Animal numbers THRIVE when hunting and hunting dollars help with population control, conservation efforts, money for local anti poaching units, as well as funds for local schools and hospitals. Tell me how much time and money you’ve dedicated to wildlife conservation. I’ll wait.
Those are some beautiful buffalo. The second one is the best in my opinion.
Thank you. We definitely got lucky on that safari.
You're quite the talented storyteller. Not too long, not too short. Never wandering.
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words. It was a little crazy reliving that for the podcast.
great hunt brother.great hunt .👌❤️❤️
Thank you!
Not sure what the others are seeing. Yes, you missed the brain on the first shot. Easy enough to do. Then you did some fine follow up shooting into vitals, causing the bull to drop dead after a brief death run. Also, well within shooting light. Good job Erin!
Thank you. I was upset I missed the brain, but was told of that happens to follow up on the chest. We were fortunate to get him down quickly and the locals we incredibly happy.
I am pro hunting and do hunt myself. But think this is unethical hunting shooting elephants at that distance and the one with daylight almost gone. Sounded like a mini war going on. Go and read Ron Thomsons books to see how elephant hunting should be done. The outfitter and pH should know better.
We show hunts how they happen. We don’t re-create or change anything. We had to track unfortunately, but that is hunting. I’m glad we were able to help so many people in the area. That’s the real message
I agree that the ph should know better and the first to be criticized here.
Lousy Shoting
Yes I missed the brain on my first shot unfortunately. But I did follow up with 2 in the vitals and the outfitters did as well so we got him down quickly.
nobody is perfect, no hunter is always deadly accurate, no shooter that never misses(ed) a target.
Good job explaining the consevation of these hunt and all the good that it does for the local people.
Thank you!
Explain why this animal is shot
Yes, we did explain, @elephantSoul. Watch the video, you’ll learn something.
@@givingbacktv3269 I understand that a large African elephant is being slaughtered inhumanely. Animals should not be killed for the sake of humans.
@elephantSoul, I have no energy to explain conservation to you. Watch the show, hear the FACTS, and then reply. Tell me, name one thing you’ve done for animal conservation? It’s an honest question. I’ll wait….
