How many miles on the clock?

hi dose this oil pump have to be keyed or fitted in a certain position the pully itself has a small mark will this have to be lined up?
Hi, I went by Haynes manual Iv had another read of it now as it's been a while since I done this job. Nothing about lining anything up with regards the small mark on the pulley. On refitting oil pump It says "Engage the oil pump sprocket with the drive belt, and then locate the oil pump on the dowels, Refit and tighten the mounting bolts to specified torque" I tried mounting the pump first but couldn't get the belt on the crankshaft sprocket so did it the way in video.... That's the way I did it and shes still running, however I have to recommend you get professional advice if in doubt as I'm certainly no expert. Hope that helps answer your question and best of luck
How come you replaced the belt? Were you getting low oil pressure?
Hi, no I wasn't getting low pressure, had just read a comment on a different video about changing that belt at a certain mileage. I was doing timing belt so thought why not. To be fair the belt looked fine, couldn't see any wear on it. Approx 240000 km when that job was done
How old it was ? (years and km) thanks
2012 240000km
you´re wrong, this util no need to apply pressure just INSERT from front of
I did try that way, however would not go on. Only when I accidentally put pressure on it, it went into correct position. I'm guessing we are using different brand tooling with different tolerances perhaps
@@learning-thehardwayhang on, how do you know of the crank is at TDC before you lock it?
How many miles on the caddy?
