Why Would You Have to Plead Guilty Before Requesting Defensive Driving School?
Really ? It cuts off ? Man...
cops will use any excuse they can to pull you over.
SO: A Quite Hybrid/ EV Gray Station Wagon. In Dash cassette tape deck, legal limit tinted glass NO AFTERMARKET STUFF,,, that grandma only drives to the supermarket and church on Sundays. GOTTCHA!!!!!!!
Tip 1: Don’t be a black person Tip 2: Don’t be black person in a nice car Tip 3: Don’t be a black person in a nice in a white neighborhood If you have broken these three tips you’re likely just been shot
9. NEVER BE IN FRONT OF COP!!! some have digital license readers and my flagg you for anything, when the officer was just ignoring you
1 and only tip: DON’T BREAK THE DAMN LAW
I disagree,drive what you want...
Ride a extremely fast motorcycle. Drive up old gravel logging roads. Drag your bike under the locked gate, and ride away.. Easy..
Stop at "stop" signs. Really, stop.
Have insurance, drive properly, maintain your car. This is not easy for some folk as they are entitled morons
NO:1 - Don't drive like a stupid moron ! 😂
Why does my steering wheel go wonky when a cop is behind me?
Don’t break the law. It’s not difficult.
The only tip you need to not get pulled over is don't break laws. It is that easy.
Wrong. I got pulled over once doing the speed limit in a residential area where most people do the customary 10 over. Looked suspicious.
Been trucking for 30 years now. All of these tips are spot on. Drawing attention to yourself in any way is never good. I keep my rig polished and detailed (weather permitting) at all times. I haven’t been pulled over or into a scale for a DOT inspection in YEARS. They see a shiny truck and they know you have your shit together.
Excellent advice 👍. But sometimes hard tint can be a red flag for pigs
Coming out of downtown Mpls in my wife’s Mazda M5 Miata! 70 degree spring day…I jumped on it! Cop! Pulled over! Police Officer walked up and I said “ you got me officer! I punched it”. He laughed and gave me an excessive acceleration ticket! No points on my license! I thanked him and all was well!
Avoid being a minority, particularly black. Statistics show that failing to do so is a sure fire way to increase your chances of being pulled over🤷🏼♂️
In my home town of central Mass. the police ignore drivers who openly use cell phones.
Being on the phone while driving is illegal pretty much everywhere, but the cops probably don't bother with it much because today they would have to pull over every second or third car--not at all practical. Probably what they do is let the judge deal with it--if you crash your car, they include cell phone use in the report and if it goes to court the judge will charge you with distracted driving.
Don't speed? I drive a Corvette so that's totally out of the question!
Is that your own Rutan canard in your avatar? Those are cool ass little machines
@@devilsoffspring5519 Yes, it's a Long EZ, a wonderful traveling machine. A 1,600 mile range at 200 MPH which I demonstrated once. Hood River, OR to Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 7.5 hours , 1,610 miles nonstop with some tailwind at 17,500' for 6.5 hours. I've built two and have flown them over 2,000 hours.
Great advice that everyone should know!
Number 1- Don't Drive A Car, Take The Bus. There I fixed it for you!
Excellent advice.
Tip 1-12... Don't break the law..
If you are pulled over by a state trooper never referred to him as “officer “. For some reason they take that as an insult. Just say “good afternoon trooper “.
You kidding me?! Referring to them by their actual job title is considered rude and insulting? Just say, "Oh, sorry pig, I didn't mean to offend you!"
And don't be black.
Tip 1: Be white Tip 2: Obey traffic laws
Every officer is different. 😂
Don't drive.
I got tagged for "unnecessary display of horsepower" for loud exhaust gently cruising 35 in a 35. Judge tossed it but i missed a day of work.
Drive to always be seen but never remembered
Yeah right, if someone invented a cloaking device for cars he'd be the world's first self-made trillionaire.
Station wagon? Where have you been for the last 30 years?
He's talking about OLD, classic cars. They also go slower due to antiquated technology.
Avoid white, 'bright' or 'ticket me red' cars. They draw visual attention, especially at near the end of the month when police' "monthly performance requirements" (quota reports) are due.
I was a dispatcher for a PD. Most of the officers I worked with wanted to get their “monthly performance requirements” done at the beginning of the month to avoid crunch time.
@@jungleno. Just wondering, is a dispatcher a police officer? Or are you sort of just a hired gun like... well, the police station's janitor? Just curious.
@@devilsoffspring5519 I’ll make my answer simple so even the slow learners can follow. A police dispatcher is a law enforcement officer. He Is issued a badge but not a firearm.
You only need one thing, don't be a dickhead
All good suggestions.
Yeah, people think I'm nuts for sticking around the speed limit. Well, having a 15% discount on my registration for a clean record every year more than makes up for your opinion.
I didn't buy a Mustang GT to "drive the speed limit". The normal flow of traffic where I live is 70 to 80 mph. I get up to 100 for short bursts. I am in my 60's, and have had a grand total of ONE traffic conviction in my ENTIRE LIFE. It was for going around 45 in a 35 zone! I have ALL the "good driver" discounts on my insurance, etc. The key, is picking your spots, and be aware of your surroundings. When I was on vacation once, I had a tire damaged, and while at the shop waiting for the repair, I was talking to the owner. (This was before my one and only ticket). His jaw literally dropped open when I told him about my clean driving record.
Drive an innocuous-looking, properly maintained vehicle in accordance with the law.
Captain obvious 😂
Turn the music down. If those around you know what you're listening to, it's too loud. Keeping your windows rolled up can help considerably.
That's boring though, gotta roll the windows down and blast Cop Killer by Body Count on your 3,500 watt stereo
Number one take subway every day to work and you never get pulled over
These are good tips for "going gray" or becoming a "gray man".
Driving a generic vehicle is a good start. Corolla, Camry, RAV4--Toyota makes the best quality generic vehicles out there and they're even available in light brown! Even the brand itself is mundane :) To get more generic than that, buy an older American vehicle in brown or grey paint. Avoid rare or striking vehicle designs like station wagons, sports cars, "fast looking" pickup trucks, or anything in red, orange or yellow paint. The more bland, the better. Finally, in residential areas always obey the speed limit, and on highways you *never* obey the speed limit. Doing the limit on the highway will make you look like a drug runner--it's WAY too suspicious.
@@devilsoffspring5519 A lot of excellent advice here and I drive a dark green Toyota RAV4 lol
@@nothingleft3473 The RAV4 is one of the better bland vehicles. It's based on the Camry platform so it has pleasantly bland steering feel and is quite resistant to wandering even when it's windy out. It also tracks quite well on-center at highway speeds. So, it's suitable for long-distance road trips since it won't annoy you after driving a while. Only thing is it starts to 'float' (lose steering) pretty badly at about 140 km/h, but that's definitely ticket territory anyway.
Tip No 2,don't drive a RED car !!!
On multilane interstate roads most all states have a law that states either slower traffic keep right or keep right except to pass. It is rarely enforced but it is sometimes. Why give the officer a good excuse to stop you? Besides, if you are in the right lane and a cop is in the middle running radar and there are cars in the lanes to your left , that radar will hit the closet car to him. It can't jump over those cars and hit you and then send the signal back up over those cars. Another lie a cop once told me is that it always hits the largest object. I laughed and told him then it must have clocked the Baptist church on the hill on the other side of me. He told me he clocked me passing a car on the right and I asked him if it was the one way down the road that passed me because it was the only other vehicle out there. The truck I was driving was licensed out of state. When he saw my drivers license he said " Oh, you're local. I don't like to stop locals". Then he turned me loose. When I told another cop about it he said he knew of the state cop and said he was crooked.
Radar very much locks on to the largest reflective surface. Churches aren't moving. Many years ago I was riding my Honda about 90 east bound on I-70 in Utah. Suddenly my radar detector went bonkers. SHIT! I quickly slowed down of course, passed the cop sitting under the overpass............and nothing happened. Pondering on this, I remembered that when the radar detector went off, I was alongside a big old U-Haul truck going around the speed limit of 70. That saved me a very expensive ticket.
Smoking dope in the car is not a good idea.
Yeah no shit. Weed was legalized here in Canada and a lot of people think they can drive around stoned out of their minds. Sorry kids, it's still impaired driving! Same thing with driving while sleep deprived.
ALL NICE BUT AFTER 5 YEARS ON THE GERMAN AUTOBAHN I NEVER WILL UNDERSTAND WHY JUST SPEEDING IS A CRIME OR NECESSARY DANGEROUS, WE HAVE ROADS YOU COULD DRIVE DOWN AT 150 MPH AND HAVE NO PROBLEM ! FURTHER I ALLAYS CALL IN DURING ELECTIONS AND TALK TO CANDIDATES(ON RADIO) AND GIVE FUNDS TO CANDIDATES THAT BELIEVE IN MORE DRIVER FREEDOMS. I HAVE FRIEND THAT ARE AMAZED AT HOW FAST THEY LET PEOPLE DRIVE TODAY , BUT MY RESPONSE IS IS THE ACCIDENT RATE IS GOING DOWN WHY NOT !! LAWS ARE TO PROTECT PEOPLE, NOT TO GET IN THEIR WAY! WHY LOOK FOR A PROBLEM WHEN THEIR IS NONE , AND RUN YOUR PLATE PULL YOU OVER AND TICKET YOU UNLESS YOUR AN ILLEGAL ALIEN THEN YOU ARE FREE TO GO !!!!
Don't speed and stop at all stop signs. It's not that complicated.
Tip #1 - OBEY THE LAW! PERIOD
Driving in precise accordance with the law can get you pulled over because it makes you look like a drug runner. When driving on a dry highway with good visibility, always exceed the speed limit by a little, maybe ~10 MPH (16 km/h) or so to prevent yourself from standing out like a sore thumb. Obeying the exact letter of the law is almost unheard of when driving, especially with regards to highway speed limits. That's why the cops think you're running guns & blow across the border :)
I believe this guy is well intentioned but extremely naive and or is just plain out of touch with the state of modern policing in America. You can follow all traffic laws to the letter, police commit bogus pretextual stops all day every day. And just stop and think for a moment about the level of un-American anti-freedom brainwashed battered wife syndrome self-censorsed mind-control involved in not driving the car you want, to avoid triggering the subjective whims of some random patrol officer, deputy or trooper? Why not tell auto manufacturers don’t offer attention getting cars for sale to the public? If that’s freedom, then freedom is only an illusion.
Dont leave your house. Clowns with Badges will pull s**t out of their azz and pull you over for it.
Don't break the law!
