    A close relative of mine has been in charge to eliminate the victims of the Dresden bombing. For the life he spoke of 300 000 dead. Remember: In February 1945 the town of Dresden had 630 000 inhabitants, further at this time the city of Dresden was overcrowded with about 500 000 refugees coming from the east. So during the night of the Dresden bombing far more than a million people were present in this town, living together in a very confined space. The official number for 1945 of 253 000 dead is distributed in the following manner: 35 000 completely identified, 50 000 partly identified, 168 000 not identified.

    In the example number 2 "I have already got the post" the verb "got" is merely in the past and as we know that in the present perfect we need to use the past participle of the verb so the past participle of "got" is "gotten", the correct sentence is "I've already gotten the post" and thank you.

    • @a-51labsstudio90
      @a-51labsstudio90 11 месяцев назад

      Hello! The sentence is perfectly correct. In British English "gotten " doesn't exist. The past participle of get is got. Gotten is only used in American English. Cheers!

      Shoulda thought of that before letting all the Jews be persecuted and killed idc what people think the “average German citizen” knew they all knew what the fuck was going on to some degree. Besides Dresden was a legit military target railways and factories. Sucks to suck next time be on the right side of history.

    • @lonsdaleslipons9570

      When they stopped the Jewish family going to the cellar. That's sadistic.

    • @felixbeutin8105
      @felixbeutin8105 7 месяцев назад

      No Dresden was a legitimate target by the rules of war at the time. It was a railway hub, it had albeit small munitions factories, it was a defended city, etc. I agree this and other allied bombings were definitely horrible, they where highly questionable, but not warcrime and i know that sucks, like i feel slimy making this argument but thats how International law is

      @@felixbeutin8105 BS. Your information is propaganda from the time from the us government and russians. There wasn't sht in that city. They used that excuse to bomb dresden. This was all to get A.H. to strike back so he would look like a monster. He tried 3 times to sign á peace treaty and was ignored all three times.
