Chopin etude op 25 no 1
Heikki Mesterton piano
I encountered polyneuropathy from the very beginning of learning to play the piano, but no one had any knowledge of it at the time. I faced greater challenges in keeping my hands together compared to a healthy hand. I was taught incorrectly. Only much later did I find a way to approach the keyboard correctly. Only then did my development as a pianist begin.

Even with “typical” hands 95% of piano players cant do what you achieved and better yet with this musicality… Bravo🎉
Nice 👍
This is such an emotional, heartfelt piece of music!
Wow, this easily is one of my favorite Chopin études and your rendition 100% does it justice! I loved listening to your performance, it sounds great, I can tell you've been doing a lot of practicing :D! Great job!
İzlediğim ve dinlediğim en doğal en saf piyano gösterisiydi. Elinize sağlık...
are those finger attachments for studying hand motions?
I have CMT1a disease. Those tubes keep my my palms open and fingers straight

exotic. truly tasteful. mouth-watering.
hace you ever thought about writing musical analysis of pieces and recordings? I read a couple of your descriptiona and I found them really well written, that summed with all of your musical luggage and experiences could give birth to some real works of art
Even with your desease it's very clear you have a deep sense of musicality and great understanding of this piece, imo you could transcend the physical struggles showing a great interpretation full of musicality! Very proud of this recording and glad I could listen. Which you all the best, cheers!
So beautiful, thank you for sharing <3

They are neophrene tubs to keep my palm open and fingers more straight
@@heikkimesterton ohhh.. i see.. cool
it was really heartwarming. Bravo!
Bravo!!!😊
Fantastic interpretation. I love it.❤
Are thos finger protectors? Like the ones we use on guitars?
No they are not, their function is to keep my fingers straight because CMT1A polyneuropathy bends my fingers
❤
Beautiful. So sorry to hear your story, your playing was incredible. Wishing you best of health and God Bless <3
Listening to this interpretation and reading the description made me tear up... I loved it so much. Thanks for sharing your performance, that was gorgeous.
