FS2020 TBM930: Using Heading, Altitude, VS, and Speed Bugs
Просмотров 1714 года назад
First YT video. Just showing quickly how to get started using some autopilot features in the TBM930. I forgot I was doing game capture instead of screen capture, so you aren't seeing some of the windows I popped out. Mostly I used notepad to keep notes on what headings the legs of the pattern need to be, and the stopwatch on the Navlog to time the legs. There's way more to the autopilot on this...

Dennis - I have a PCM90 that has flashing red light at the meters at 0. If I send audio through, I get very loud static/white noise type noise. When the unit works, it sounds terrific. But this makes it unusable. Is this fixable? If so, do you have a video outlining how?

I did the same repair on one of my Lexicons some years ago. It was also an bad ADC issue except the ADC was sending out random data that produced loud white noise when it came out of the DAC. I also got a chip from China... off eBay. Another issue common with these Lexicons as they age is the display gets very dim and you need to replace the capacitors on the back on the display unit.

Since the ADC is mounted on a dip socket from the factory, I suspect that Lexicon thought they may become a problem. The owner has reported back that the unit sounds better than it did before. I suspect that the ADC was on the way out for a while and just recently quit entirely.

This is wonderful Dennis! Very logical and clearly explained. I'm glad to see that you found the problem.
