How has it held up?
I've left it outside and it's just now getting a little rust in dry country. I don't use it all that often. Nothing else shows any signs of wear or malfunction
You can get a 10ft. Bifanua SUP for $104. I believe that is the cheapest one available.

You're holding the paddle backwards. The blade should actually curve forward for paddleboarding.
Double stroke what pump?
I bought 2 irocker isups due to the quality and guarantee offered by the brand, one of them failed after 2 months under normal use conditions and irocker did not want to honor the guarantee with childish and unpleasant behavior. So spending more than $600USD on an isup and having to throw it in the trash doesn't make sense, buying a good one for $300 does, especially if it fails before a year and depending on the brand still honors its warranty.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're all coming from the same place or getting the materials from the same source. These were $126 each. I couldn't even build one that cheap. So far It's been pretty good. I notice isups a lot more now and I haven't seen anything to justify the outrageous price variances. If they're made in the USA with US materials, I could understand the steep differences but otherwise it all seems trivial: d ring location, maybe a few feet of extra Bungie, marketing etc
Im curious. The leaf blower made quick work of that. How much of the video did you edit out when you were pumping and building pressure by hand? Im wondering if i should buy an electric leafblower with a stubby nozzel and just finish it off with the hand pump to save time. They seem to take 10 minutes by hand at a lesiurely rate. In total how long did it take you to fully inflate? Also wondering if you know to pump up the board the rest of the way on the water since water is typically cooler than air so it condenses, making the psi drop so you need to top off once waterborne for maximum efficiency and perfoemance. That goes for all inflatable boats
It took about 30 seconds of leaf blower and maybe 3 minutes tops of good pumping. I pumped it up to 15 psi and the cool water didn't seem to make a noticable difference. When I use low pressure rafts I notice a lot of deflation with the temperature difference. I would definitely get a leaf blower, vacuum, or cordless air compressor with a high volume option; whatever you'll use the most outside of an inflator. I watched a gal spend easily 3 times as long inflating her board by hand.

@@projectsdontstop8441 The SUP you bought is too small for the average person. According to the dimensions, your SUP is intended more for women or juniors. A quality SUP, it has a volume of 350-370 l and a length of about 12', and you also need a powerful pump for it.
@@pufinko123 This one seems to work just fine and my leaf blower fills it pretty quick. The pumps aren't the highest quality but I've got one for my kites that's a little better. None have impressed me. I assume it's a little like surfing; different sized boards for different applications and skill

They came with the windshield. I had to twist them 90 degrees to put them where I want

Something to keep in mind about these conversion kits, if you're looking for accuracy, this is not for you. The .223 and 5.56 cartridges work best with a 1:7 to 1:9 twist rate, pretty fast twists. The .22lr requires a 1:12 twist at the fastest for any kind of accuracy, with 1:16 twist being the go to for the vast majority of dedicated .22lr rifles. Any faster than 1:12 will result in loss in accuracy from overstabilization.
All very true! Definitely good info in this comment! I have a upper with a dedicated 1:16 twist barrel specifically to use with the CMMG conversion kit due to this.

I'm looking at a 19 foot with a 120 IO It looks nice but there's always a lot of hidden surprises. $5,000 seems a lot for a mid 70s boat. "Boats are money pits" keep popping into my mind.
That does seem like a lot for a big project. I've probably added $1200 in materials to my boat but including lifejackets, tool kit and emergency kit. I noticed they're foam filled underneath the floor. I've seen 90's turn key 18-20' StarCraft boats for $10000

We need to sell the van so I'm gaging interest. It's got 270000 miles, a rod knock and a failing head liner. We were going to do a full rebuild but I could really use a work rig. We want it to go to a good home and hate to scrap it.

"Any ham-fisted neanderthal" great line! Honda built amazing machines back in the day. 23 years of sitting and with a modicum of maintenance it fires up and is ride-able. Wow.
It actually ran for a few seconds on the old gas without doing anything except squirting oil in the cylinder and turning it over a few times by hand. I thought I cought it on camera but couldn't find the footage.

I used stainless mesh, a soldering iron and a lot of permatex plastic weld to fix the cracked plastics. They aren't perfect but do their job
What was the final outcome on when it wouldn't run? Did you find a singular culprit or many small things?
The reason it wouldn't start after it tried a few times was the CDI. Definitely the biggest culprit. Then the coil packs as is wasn't running on all cylinders, then the needle seats worked themselves loose after about 10 minutes run time. At least they all popped up at once and didn't trick us into big water.

Awesome! I just added an update finally. How does she handle with the 150hp? Mine is an 85 and the boat is only rated to 130. One reason for me to keep the old outboard is that newer four strokes are so much heavier.
