Of all the games I have played so far, this is my favorite game. I agree with a lot of the things you mentioned, but what you didn’t mention, is how rewarding it is to complete this game 102%. Not only is it fun to beat all the bonus levels and collect all the DK coins, but doing so will actually fully complete the story and it rewards you with one of the greatest end cutscenes of any game. Seeing that cutscene makes you reflect on all the great time you have spent on the game, and how much fun you had with it. What a great experience.
I talked about the special cutscene and stuff just really late into the vid but you are right about it fully completing the story and making you feel things .overall terrific game
1:13 this title screen scared me a little as a child. Look on the right. It looks like a monstrous bear or something. You can see the right ear, the razor sharp teeth over dixie's head and the hyphen looks like a red glowing eye
Also to add, I subscribed; your vibe work put into the video is really awesome! I would give you a shout out if I wasn't on a 2+ year hiatus. I know it's wouldn't much even if I did it back then anyway; but I wanted to express how much I appreciate your effort to give us good content to watch. :)

WHO's kong quest!?
So close to 102% and this is tempting me to finish what was started. Any soundtrack made by David Wise is going to be God tier. Sticker Bush and Mining Melancholy were definitely ones that stick out to me. But yes I definitely agree that this game is hard at points (they advertised it as being more difficult than DKC1 in the commercial), but yeah the pacing in showing mechanics was pretty great and creative using the bananas to direct you with an arrow or letter of a button. I actually like this game more than DKC1. Great video man! Also, before my PC broke, I used that same space background gif for my streams too!
Donkey Kong country 2 is one of my all-time favorites but I don’t really play the super Nintendo like that anymore so I cheat the coins. I think a simple run through on every level is probably the best way to play

I think that’s the charm of the game, you can just have a fun run playing normal or going the extra mile for all the secrets is also fun .but the coin cheat is amazing
I'm always happy to see a DKC2 video! This game really felt like an adventure the entire time. The atmosphere is miles ahead of most other games, even from today.
For real, going from level to level you really do feel like you’re going on a grand adventure also the technical stuff they did on the snes was just impressive .

I looked at the settings, I think it was where it just didn’t show the likes/dislikes but the dislikes are there.
@@donnieak Anyway, that in mind, I have to point out that with your editing when you speak about something and show it on screen, you show the thing only AFTER you finish the sentence, most RUclipsrs show it at the START of the sentence. Here's an example: 6:52 Here the idea is, for example with Medal of Honor, you show the image at the same point as starting to say Medal of Honor. (I miss that series so much. T-T) This can be really easy to do if you pay attention to the audio levels measured in your voice clip, and align the image's start point (when you start showing it) at the same time as the _title's_ start point, you see? The reason I point it out is because of this delay I thought the audio was delayed because of a connection/load issue. :/

good video :) a few points though is to remove the intro (like another commentor suggested) because even though it doesn't seem like much, an intro can KILL viewer retention. secondly I suggest working on a script or improving your current writing method to remove a lot of your unnecessary pauses and the times you repeat yourself. no hate though i enjoyed the video just trying to give some criticism to help you improve :)
