Sometimes, Legos warp over time when things aren't pushed together all the way, which might be why the door isn't shutting. My Lego Porsche does the same thing with the doors, but when I squeeze the model together, it tends to shut all the way. This is an awesome review, though. I totally support the small channel!!

Somebody threw away a nearly intact 25257 in my apartment. Picked it up, bought the missing pieces, then bought some more pieces to improve it. This eventually became a gateway drug to my Star Wars themed Lego collection. Not sure if I gained or lost money with this unexpected windfall. Ha!

Something feels Off...

My thoughts are ditch the 1000 bucks set and make the new death star a modular build. You should be able to buy the separate rooms as sets and connect them together to make the Death Star. Maybe each room set is 70 bucks and are released over a year, maybe 1 room set a month with 12 sets in total to build the Death Star. That way Lego makes more profit, sells loads more sets and everyone can eventually build the death star if they buy all the sets.

So basically you want the same set that was previously made… 😂🤦‍♂️

The most Eisley Cantina has 21 mini figures with 9 of them being unique to the set and costs 350. It is in my opinion the best set Lego has ever designed, it looks great, loads of varied playability, loads of side builds and a flexible set. If this alleged new set costs 1k then I expect AT LEAST 60 mini figures with 30 being unique as it’s over 3 times the price of the cantina, it must not have any stickers either and be a display piece as well as loads of playable features. I will laugh my as off if there’s even 1 sticker in the set 😂🤦‍♂️ Having said this I would never ever consider paying 1k for just plastic bricks even though I have to money to buy it.

For that price I want a hanger where I can put the UCS Millennium Falcon.

*My thoughts:* - Take this set with a grain of salt. It's not confirmed yet & similar to the Jedi Temple it could also be a fake leak. - Don't have too much hope about the piece count. The UCS AT-AT with inflation is €990/$990 with 6785 pieces. It'll be closer to that. - Don't expect arm & leg printing on all the figures. They will do it on some figures but Chewbecca, C3-PO & R2-D2 are already fine. - Director Krennic would be a great fit for this set but, if he is in this set, I think they'll only give him some legprinting. - It will be an UCS set about the Death Star and they'll likely use the emperor's throne room (Death Star II) for the Krennic/Leia scene. - Don't expect a lot of side-builds as they likely are gonna give out a polybag as GWP for this set.

Including Director Krennic in this set is actually low key a genius marketing strategy provided he doesn't also come in the U-Wing Starfighter remake next year because then you have die hard Andor and Rogue One fans buying the UCS Death Star for the awesomely updated and detailed Director Krennic minifigure. Also, if it does end up being the Death Star 2 model rather than a fully enclosed playset with a ton of minifigures, I hope Lego makes a mini Imperial Shuttle build to pair with it rather than another mini Super Star Destroyer since the midi scale version of the Super Star Destroyer just came out a couple years ago.

There have been 2 sets that cost 1000 dollars if you count inflation. At-at and millennium falcon are the 2 that are 1000 dollars set. So death star can be 2 different ways. 1. death star 1 8000+ and 10-15 ish figs or 1. death star 2 12000+ 2-5 figs. Is what I think it will be. So it won't be some 30 figs and 10000 pieces that many think it should be just because the number is high. But have to think about inflation as well, so 1000 is nothing new

Frankly, if this set has less than 30 mini figures, and less that 12000 bricks, its a complete rip off. Its the most expensive set, its a no brainer that it should have the most mini figures and most peices too
