If you convert a 900 to an SPG you have to change also the rear panels between wheel arch and bumper! This car still has the normal ones.

If you were to have 4 adults in this 1800 ES , would the rear seat passengers be able to get in and sit down with room for their legs ?
No, maybe a single adult can sit in the back seat, but it's not comfortable, you have to sit sideways. But the great thing about the 1800 series is that you can be two meters tall (6 feet 6) and still sit well in the driver's seat. 😃

years ago I owned one and loved driving it. Here is an interesting point, the original idea for the car was born of a competition between designers to take the 1800 sports car and make it capable of carrying two sets of golf clubs. There were brackets and leather straps so that you could secure the bags in the back. Very very cool.
