Testing after rebuilding player stack and pneumatics, still a lot of adjustment required. Piano action needs major work, tuning, regulation, strings and hammers.

I waiting next video 👏👏
nice bike and in good condition, greets from germany
Thanks for stopping by! Really happy to be putting it back on the road.
Bonjour, c’est vraiment magnifique. Je ne pensais pas que c’était possible de restaurer un parquet aussi abîmé par les vers. Pourriez vous donner quelques détails sur les étapes de cette restauration ?
I had to cut out most damaged boards and replace with salvaged boards from other old houses. Then just sanded and varnished. 😊
Did the Spray Max 2k gloss black paint come out slightly grayish?
This is the Spraymax 2k with a tinter the paint shop put in. Not spraymax ready made 2k black in a can.
Hello, what is the name of this color? Thank you very much. Can you send me the link of the spray paint?
@@eyuperenkaya5387you go to local spray shop. It’s Spraymax 2k with a gloss black added to if.
@@ejgrae1989Thank you very much🖐
Just the gloss black 368 0222?
How many cans did you use per rim??
2 cans for whole job of 4 rims. A dust coat and 2 medium wet coats.
Hello brother, can you tell me a little bit about the production stages? I liked it very much. You did it very well. Thank you.
Hey do you happen to have an owner's manual or something for it? I just bought one to fix up but can't find anything online
Just curious to know, isn’t this a 6v bike with a 12v instrument cluster? Just asking as I about to convert a 175 AG to Cafe bike and want a instrument cluster similar to the one you have. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Bike has been converted to 12v and cdi.
@@ejgrae1989 Interesting! Can you please share how this is done (parts and instructions) ?Any information will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
@@backpackairsports8045 how much you wan to pay for my intellectual property? Haha joking nah have a look here. This is my thread. Years ago but you can probably just chuck on any 12v regulator as the 6v coil has enough windings to do 12v. So you just need to change the battery and bulbs to 12v and should be good. www.yamaha-enduros.com/index.php/forums/customs/1125-1976-yamaha-ag-175?start=110
Awesome. Did you do an entire rebuild or just the top end?
That was just in barn find condition. I’ve since rebuilt the engine but haven’t had time to put it all back together. It was leaking past the crank seals I think it was so smoky and wouldn’t rev out.
It’s really responsive, nice job. Did you rebuild it yourself?
I rebuilt the player action. The piano action still need a lot of work
It still sounds great even needing the remaining work. Weber made some wondeeful instruments.
How did you connect the tach wire? To the spark plug wire or the coil or ?
I connected it to the input wire to the coil. Trigger wire.
I mean to the input wire of the CDI unit, not the CDI output or ignition coil output
I thought it would die but has stood up to the vibrations well. The comments below say what I've done. There is a thing that apparently once you swap from 1 cylinder the electronics can't go back to 1. Did you mess around with that ? Do some googling I found threads with different peoples experiences. Is your bike cdi
still works perfectly connected to cdi trigger wire from memory, it wsa a long time ago.
Hello, is it still working? I read that you connected the signal wire to the CDI's input, I have the same tachometer and it doesn't work properly.
Hello, I have the same tachometer and I'd like to mount it on a 125cc 2 stroke Cagiva Sxt, that has a CDI ignition. The fact is that the tachometer shows wrong rpms, and it doesn't depend by the cylinders number. Where did you connect the signal wire?
can you.show us the connection oF RPM?
connect it to the pulse that triggers the CDI
I'm currently working on a TL 125 which was in a barn for about 35 years. Had it run for the first time since then a few months ago. Can't wait to take it to the streets!
Hi! Where did you hook up the RPM signal wire? To Ignition coil? To breaker? To ignition sensor? Thanks in advance.
erm I think the input side of the CDI actually... so from the AC magneto coil, and set the setting to 4 cylinder. weird but it pulses every crank rotation to trigger the cdi so it works well!
my cdi has an orange and black going to it, black is earth and orange is the ac trigger line it has a red and a white wire coming, red is coil + (high voltage) and white is the kill wire... does that make sense.. I chose pre coil because I wondered if the current would be too high for the tacho ? I dunno heaps of people have connected different ways and it has worked.
