Thanks man!. I had so much trouble myself and since learning all of this… I enjoy the process of cutting out cool things so much more 🙏
Good content but your cursor action is like having a blow fly on the screen

I can’t get my cnc torch to work
Do you need some help?.
Well-thought-out and well-made.👍 I need to make a double myself, Nice job
Thanks buddy 🙏. It turned out really good in the end except for the awful green colour that I had to paint over hahaha. Thought I’d get fancy with the green but… black always suits best!.
When you sharpen tungsten, you’re supposed to sharpen it in-line straight not sideways I use either a tungsten portable hand grinder or use a grinding wheel, dedicated strictly to your tungsten -Otherwise great video
Thanks for the advice 🙏. I knew the way I sharpened the tungsten would be a trigger for people. I have researched in the past the correct way to sharpen it…. I’m just lazy sometimes with what’s available to sharpen it. 😎
Another great video. Wondering if you might consider putting drawers inside the base to house consumables, clamps etc. Great so see the pinch mould on the lead storage hooks. Keep up the great work.
Yeah I did think of doing that. Everything gets so grubby when grinding and welding. I do have a unimig consumables container that I keep everything organised in but drawers would be great!😊
@@Fab-Life444 Good work. Do you have a link to the computer monitor mount that you used to mount the Arcdroid controler?
@@timknight4384 www.ebay.com.au/itm/176348163380?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=I2KF7Gn0QF6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=WQnh1HbURvS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Big Tip : *That RED tungsten is the Thoriated Tungsten. Thorium is a radioactive isotope like uranium and is VERY toxic to health. Most places have ditched using them for this reason as the dust from the grinder when sharpening them, if inhaled, will cause long term health problems such as cancer and death. Please read more about Thoriated Tungstens or switch to other non harmful tungstens. Hope this is of some help*
Thanks for that… strange that unimig supplied it with the kit. I always wear a respirator to protect my lungs 👍
Another awesome video, the green paint looked nice but the black looks even better. Keep up the good work mate.
Thanks for the feedback. I’m glad someone approved of the paint change at the end haha. Cheers
Great job, it has given me a few ideas for making a cart for my two Unimig machines, Keep up the good work
Thanks for the feedback buddy. I’m glad it’s inspired you in some way. It’s such a simple, strong design…. I’m shocked at how long it took to make haha.

Sweet mate, ive got the original viper AD/DC 180, stoked on the review of the MK2, youll love it i'm sure. It was the only one with 10A plug that suited my needs👍👌🇦🇺
Yeah I love that it’s 10amp. Makes life allot easier!. The new tig is miles better than my original.. I can’t believe the difference. Cheers!🍻
Thanks mate! I was stuck trying to figure out why my files from fusion 360 wasn’t showing up on my Arcdroid , but after watching your video you set me straight.
That’s awesome feedback buddy!. I love knowing that I’ve helped fellow arcdroid users. It’s such a frustrating thing sometimes when all you want to do is make what you’ve drawn up and it just won’t work… cheers!
Well done I like it!
Cheers buddy
That was great, I hadn’t been extruding my sketch, that explains why sometimes I had trouble creating cut paths, also did you not have to explode the text before fixing the drop outs?, thanks again 😁
Thanks for the feedback!. I basically do everything to the sketch then finish it and extrude once out of sketch mode. Is that what you mean?… because basically what I do is keep clicking and making sure that everything I’m keep is lit up in dark blue once selected… if not… create bridges to the lonely centre bits haha
That’s awesome, did you have to split the file size to do that on Arcdroid?
Nah it was done in 1 go. 380mm outer circle so it fit in the cut area. Do you have issues with file size errors when loading into the arcdroid? 🙏
@@Fab-Life444 have trouble with almost every file I’ve purchased, I’m going to learn how to split the files, hopefully 🥺
I can help you with that 100%!. There’s a few settings that stop that error. I even had to make adjustments on the French bulldog sign before it would load.
Really nice job will make one for myself just one addition how about a drain point?
Yeah that’s a work in progress. I have a tap ready to go but stared at it for a bit a went “that’s too much effort for now”… I put it on my future job list. 😎
Awesome vid. As you said towards the end, this is the video that all us Arcdroid users are looking for. 💪
Thanks buddy. I hope the video helped you out 🙏😎
Was the pin on the handle stammped (in order of most rare and Australian made at the time but not owned) Wilson & wilson , disston, spear and jackson and Schofield. If yes you gotyourself a $60 or more collectible
I just went and had a look… I googled what was stamped on it and I’m shocked…. I think it’s worth allot more!. It says “warranted superior”… 🫣
@@Fab-Life444 about the same age as most disston and Schofield saws, they switched to darker handled woods in the mid 70s (yours) before then most their saw handles were a white ash (got bought out by disston I THINK in the 80s) Your handle looks to be made on a router so it's definitely a later production but still a awesome buy! Hand carved handles for vintage tools is a tell tale sign it's pre 1960s
Nice Job! I'm looking to do a similar tray for my table. If I may ask what are the final dimensions of the water bath table, side height and depth of water. Also, how far is the water level below the top of your slats?
I just went and checked. 658mm x 985mm x 100mm. Water is 30mm below top of the slats. 70mm filled up in the tray.
@@Fab-Life444 thanks for the numbers, it will really help with my table.
@@dtsea1 not a problem. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. I absolutely love sharing what I’ve learnt. 🙏
Nice job, I’m going to try doing that😊
Sweet!. Let me know how it turns out
Good job 👍 I have a feeling that you're gonna buy a cnc mill or build your own cnc machine in your garage :D
Haha my next tool will be a lathe and mill for sure. I have my eye on a combo. It really limits what I can do by not having the ability to machine things.. plus it’s a skill that I’d love to learn for sure!🙏
@@Fab-Life444 I've got a bf16 mill and a tu2004 lathe, super accurate for there size, added some lcd dro's aswell. There both great, the next size up mill and lathe both look good too, if you have the space and can move them. If you can got to the 300kg range, hm46 and tu3008 are the go👍👌🇦🇺
Awesome. I’ll check them out. Who sells them?
@@Fab-Life444 hafco, of course 😉
@@Fab-Life444 the optimum range and hafco machines👍👌🇦🇺
Have you tried using welders magnets underneath the work. Just the small cheap ones, move them where there needed, fully sacrificial in the long run. Cool gift mate👍👌🇦🇺
That’s a great idea!. I have a bunch of them. Definitely will use them next time.🙏
good idea with laying it out on fusion360
It definitely makes the planning more accurate. Just take the measurements to the saw and piece it all together. Happy days

Good walk-thru of Fusion 360. I have no experience with Fusion 360, it looks like a great product. I stayed away from it because I was afraid it wouldn't be considered "non-comercial" use if I sold any drawings. Also I'm cheap so I went with Inkscape because it's free, then I ended up buying SheetCam for ~$150. It takes Inkscape and Sheetcam to do what you did with Fusion 360. Great Video, thanks for putting it together!
Thanks buddy!. The reason I went with fusion 360 was because I’d already used it with my 3d printer projects. I didn’t even know about the other programs until I watched your videos. My wife and I are waiting for new content from yourself.. when is your wife letting you back in the shed?… ps.. get a welding respirator to look after those lungs of yours 🙏
@@Fab-Life444 I've got some editing to do. Hopefully tonight.

Nice video man!! Which plasma cutter are you using?
Unimig razor cut 45. Non compressor version 😎
@@Fab-Life444 Nice! I'm looking at the Razorcut 45di from Jasic and it almost looks like the same machine from Unimig.
@@Wildboyz1987 sweet. Yeah they are a great little unit
Excellent Work. Thank you for sharing. Great tips with the technique you used to join the letters. Great to see the method to do the post process and also the tool settings in Fusion 360. Good to know how you arrived at the 3mm torch height and that 1200 is the best speed using the Unimig Cut 45. Is that 1.2mm mild steel that you are cutting at 1200 and is that speed also suitable for 3mm? Have you identified an optimal height for the water level to be bellow the material being cut? I'm keen to build a similar bath and am considering the dimensions. Keep up the great work. Keen to learn any other tips you may have operating Fusion 360.
Awesome comment!. The metal I used for the face was 2mm and the subscriber plate was 3mm. Both cut at 75psi and 45amps. I know it’s higher amps than needed but… it works and that’s all that matters isn’t it. I’ve tried a lower pierce height and lower cut height but… I found that the consumables took a hit. That’s why I measured the standard spacer that the plasma torch came with and settled with that. I’ve also tried slower speeds and faster… 1200mm is such a great all round setting in my opinion. I’ve found that the water is about 3cm below the under side of the metal. The water splashes around a fair bit at that height so… I wouldn’t want to go much higher. I definitely need to build a water deflector for the front of the arcdroid as well soon. Please reach out if I’ve missed anything else and I’d be happy to share any extra info needed.

That looks wicked mate. When is the arcdroid extension table showing up? It should open up some bigger product options👍👌🇦🇺
I haven’t ordered one yet. Just keeping the projects small at the moment. The standard size is plenty big enough for now. So stoked with it man!. I’ve got everything nailed now and it’s just a matter of deciding what to make…then making it. 😎

The Computer did a great job of creating the kit
Thanks for the comment. 🙏. There is always allot of time spent at the r laptop programming the cut file before it even makes it to the cnc. It was actually a frustrating thing to program haha

Great video. Nice work with the electronic level and always good to see proper PPE in use. Great to see Aussie content that is about quality work and getting things right. Keep up the great work.
Awesome feedback!. Yeah you only get one set of lungs! Because I live in an estate, doors need to be closed due to sound and then fact that I do most of the work at night… glad you liked the video 🙏
Well done. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new water table upgrade and what you think about the water level being so close to the work. I noticed Mike Festiva from US Utube channel has a plastic bag wrapped around his torch which I gather is to protect the electrics from water ingress. Keep up the great work.
I’ll definitely update you soon when I’ve used it a few more times. I’ve already noticed that the part can be handled instantly from the water. Also, there’s no issue with the torch and the water as it blows air and purges when the machine turns on. I do want to protect the arcdroid with a shield from some of the splash back of water. There was also less dross with the water I found. I’ll have your fusion 360 video done in the next few days. I hope it helps you out 🙏
