Beats in hotel room. Wait, no. Hotel room beats? Beating in hotel room? All are terrible choices. I'm just making music and reading books. Seriously. #jamuary2024 #torsoelectronics

@@Probbie HAH! You'd do great things with it!
This is great mate 👍
Sound great! What pickup do you use?
It’s the electro-acoustic model, so it’s got a built-in pickup.
And thank you!
Which one is more fun? )
Mimeophon. ;)

Squelchy squirly! This is not helping me with my ‘not needing a Buchla’ opinions!
😂
Tranquility embodied
Nice one mate. I've never touched a buchla.. 😊
It's a ton of fun!
This is absolutely brilliant. I have both instruments home. Would love to have time to discover exactly this kind of sounds. Please post more! Love it!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you found it despite its age. Made my day.
straight to the point, no intro no nonsense no script, we need more eurorack demos like this
Haven't seen this one! Thanks for sharing. Curious abou the M13. I guess you could do another test with a sequence that has strike intensity changes (ratchets?) in a bigger range. I feel this is where the NG becomes truly natural. In this compare, my favorite would be the Optomix.
You're right about doing another test with strike intensity changes -- I will do that, especially as I've now got some other LPGs to add to the comparison. As for M13, I loved it...and I'm now waiting for another, as for the first time in my 7? 8? years of Eurorack, I racked a module with the red stripe reversed. That module survived the incident, but its neighbor, the poor M13, did not. I smelled it for two weeks!
Lovely. Subscribed
Thank you!
This is so beautiful, Stu. Amazing stuff.
Thank you so much, Jay!
Love this!

Thought the thumbnail of this vid was something else 😳 I hadn't heard of this sequencer until a few days ago and now I want one so bad.
I’m really enjoying it as an inspiration-generator. Highly recommend.

You are trying to lure me into buying a Subharmonicon!... 😉. Nice one mate 👌
I’ve experienced nothing but joy with it so far. I did not expect to love it this much.
@@stujay What are you trying to do to me?? 😉
Enrich your life by recommending marvelous tools to help you realize your musical vision, that's all. heh.@@Probbie
@@stujay 😁
Wow love this! So is it coming up with melodies randomly, or did you program this and it only alters the chance of notes being played?
Thank you! T-1 is a deep euclidian sequencer, so it's a bit of both, really. The user sets, adjusts, and modulates the parameters through which the T-1 chooses the notes, beats, rhythm, accents, velocity, style, etc. The user sets the rules, it follows the rules.
