A seed only grows in the way that it is planted and nourished. Telling your child to focus on their studies vs. showing them the available career opportunities are two very different things. In the program, the father tells his son to focus on his studies, but it doesn't show him taking his son to job fairs or encouraging him to explore constructive interests. He just lectures him and then later berates him when his lecturing doesn't manifest into the results he wants. Entering your child into the school system and then telling them to stay in school, study, and obey their teachers is not parenting. Parenting is checking their homework, making sure they understand the course material, and getting them the necessary tutors if they don't. Parents need to help their children to understand themselves and to express themselves constructively, and make sure they have a strong moral standing. Parenting is teaching and then also showing in a tangible and constructive manner. The show is way too cliché and full of racial generalities.

I don't usually comment on the vids i watch but when i saw her cooking pasta in oil i was utterly shocked, like super shock because after I finish my highschool, i actually plan to go to a culinary school and work as a chef, but that thing really made me shock because how does one think of using oil to cook pasta?
