In Ohio not Indiana but when I got dental surgery, I specifically told them NO OPIOIDS. They agreed and confirmed no opioids. After the surgery they gave me a bottle of codeine to take home. Being the rather untrusting person I am, I googled codeine before taking any - and immediately tossed the bottle in the trash without taking a single one. Codeine is not only an opioid, it’s one of the strongest and most addictive ones. I didn’t sue the doctors though because they’re doctors; they have lots of money and lawyers and systems, I don’t even have enough to live on my own.

Yeah, Kevin. Listen to the man. Even if you see a girl in real life, she’s not “real.” You see her body, which is only a costume, and you make assumptions. That’s not evil, and she’s doing the exact same to you, but it’s wrong to assume your assumptions are the whole truth, or even accurate at all. My uncle once said, “you’ll never know a girl until a year after you marry her.” Taking that into account, how much more fake and masked in assumptions are people, both girls and boys, on social media? Everyone is fake in real life and they’re even faker online. As even GaryVee says, “your own mother doesn’t really know you.”

It is the relationship with Jesus. So right.

I feel like people arent grasping what hes saying. Kids are blank slates, no identities. By telling a kid 'you are a liar' or 'you are lazy' when they are really young it can be easy for them to attach that to themselves as a core character trait of their being. Saying "you are" seems definitive. There is no changing what you are so if theure told theyre a liar they are going to look at themselves as a liar Compare that to telling the kid "you are lying" or "youre being lazy". By associating it with the way they are acting rather than their very person its no longer "this is who i am" it is now "i choosing to act this was and its not good". Obviously telling a kid occasionaly "youre a liar" isnt going to destroy their self esteem and character, thats absurd, but it is a common issue with kids that if parents say definitive "you are" statements growing up it can lead to some real issues with self esteem and relationship issues. If you grow up thinking your parents see you as a disappointment because they told you you were a disappointment youre going to feel like youve failed

Children need to hear the truth. The Bible teaches how to raise a child. I'll go by what the Bible says...thanks anyway 🙄
