2:04 close! You would be right that the O would not be an O and would rather be an O2, but if there is only one water molecule, it will be split into H2 and O, but then the O will immediately “seek” a more stable arrangement and probably just don’t with the Hydrogen again to make water, but if you break down 2 water molecules, it would be stable to have 2 sets of H2 and then there would be enough Oxygen for it to be configured into O2. You were on the right track, I think you confusion comes from where the second oxygen comes from

Peak vid for 39 subs. Also little tip for sound quality equalizing your voice and compressing the audio so the volume is consistent should help. You can do this in the free version of davincci resolve.

Not a bad video but I think whatever statement you are trying to make here is rather unclear. Like, the title suggests that the subject is writers who break the rules - which is a very interesting topic to me, hence why I'm here - but most of this sounds like you're just talking about the themes and styles of shonen combat and power systems in a more general sense. It's a bit unfocused and disorganized, basically, and I had a hard time discerning what specific point your were trying to make. For example, Naruto having a focus on close combat over the "spells" of the series, while Frieren does the opposite, isn't exactly "against the rules." That's just a stylistic choice, so I'm not sure where you were going with that. For future videos, I recommend being mindful of the subject and your statement about that subject, and taking care to address them clearly: What exactly do you mean by "breaking the rules", what stories do this and how, and why is this a good/bad/interesting thing?

What I meant by “breaking the rules” was that the most characteristic techniques in my two main examples (JJK and Naruto) were far more complicated and extreme compared to other techniques within the verse. In Naruto, for example, techniques like water walking and strength enhancement are examples of basic chakra control. And most of the jutsu we see early on reflects this: like Negi’s 8 trigrams or Choji’s expansion jutsu. However we also see jutsu early on which completely breaks this trend of mostly simple abilities. I’d argue that shadow clones and summoning jutsu(which is basically teleportation) is far more complicated conceptually than the elements of chakra control they’re said to have derived from. And most of the techniques used in the show are leagues simpler than cloning and summoning, even later on. And the effects of this are very clear. When Jiarya teaches a young Naruto in the mountains he learns how to output chakra into a spiraling ball, which makes sense considering water walking(which is a basic chakra control) requires you to output chakra towards the water. Instead of letting the chakra dissipate you instead concentrate it into a rotating motion. The rasengan, a technique used early on in the show, builds off of the chakra fundamentals laid out by the show. Of course Jiraya also teaches Naruto how to summon frogs. Which, when considering the basic fundamentals of chakra, makes no sense. Nothing about chakra suggests that teleporting frogs hundreds of miles away should be easy. However, summoning techniques are a huge part of Naruto's identity despite being an exception to the rules. Saying all this, my main point in the video was that “breaking the rules” to add techniques that don’t align with rules laid out is a wonderful decision assuming they help characterize the magic system. But I will admit I could’ve 100% been way clearer in the video.

Ooh this point reminds me of a lesson we were taught in figure drawing class. The whole point in figure drawing is not to perfectly mimic the anatomy of the form, but to convey the motion and balance of the form. We were shown books upon books of famous figure drawing studies and the common thread was always to keep it SUPER loose, VERY sketchy, and to focus on the FLOW of the figure. They didn't render muscles perfectly. Some proportions were exaggerated, distorted, and even flat out wrong... But they looked impressive due to the amount of movement that could be squeezed into a single doodle. As an animator this is an important thing to think about because animation is about storytelling, not just pure motion. Saying to focus on the idea rather than what is actually happening is I think a very concise way to refer to that concept. Neat video! :)
