Virtual Mega Tree Build
This is the second year I've used this virtual mega tree and I made some additional improvements and tweaks this year. I'm happier with the stability and shape, so I'll fabricate some nicer looking components for a cleaner look and simpler installation for next year. The video below is a full tour of the construction and components. The structure is essentially the same as what you would use to build a pixel mega tree, we just used a screen in place of hundreds, if not thousands, of heavy pixels that require regular replacement. Mounting Props on a Steep Roof

I often get asked how I mount my pixel props on the steep part of my roof. The video below shows how I bent some EMT conduit with two uprights and secured some conduit hanger brackets to the roof to hold the pipe loaded with props.
