is it actually good? i played the demo and enjoyed it but still unsure if i'm buying it yet

@@Chasibannac ​ @Chasibannac Honestly, I finished case 1, and I really liked the way they held your hand, by telling you where to go constantly The game is pretty much a kinetic novel in disguise, because you can still walk around and in the second case (The demo ends around the middle of the first case by the way) you can even go outside and talk to some of the people in the Dark Pit/Dark Web and get some character interactions if you want. c: So it's a kinetic novel with a few extra steps. I obviously haven't finished it yet, but some of the reviews I read mentioned that the game does that sort of hand-holding throughout the whole thing. I also read something saying that they didn't like how Tomona comments on whenever you're picking the final evidence, clearly letting you know if it's right or not. Again... This, to me, is a kinetic novel with extra steps. If you like that sort of thing, which I am personally LOVING, then I'd advise you to get it, yeah! :D If that's not your thing, that's cool too ^-^ I just don't understand why it being kinetic made it so everyone absolutely hated it to death, it just doesn't make any sense to me..

​@@InsanityPrevailsI think the dislike stems from the fact that it's a mystery novel, but it being so hand holdy makes it feel like the work doesn't believe the players are capable of making any observations on their own. Which is pretty annoying considering how they leave it up to the player to make the observation proper. Compare that to something like Ace Attorney, which may nudge you in the right direction, but leaves it to the player to make a connection, or Umineko, which is on a fixed path and doesn't change that as the player is there to see the story.
