I don't think any airplane will evoke the kind of emotions that the Boeing 747 does. What a great chapter in aviation history!

Farewell to the B747

Good riddance! OLD & inefficient so its time to retire. Will be scrapped in the deserts of Nevada or Arizona.

This is to honour our India's queens of the skies. So sad to see Air India's Boeing 747-400 leave our country and retire.

Why is this plane smoking so much?

I saw her take to the skies right over my house as she climbed out of Paine Field headed for her final destination of Roswell, New Mexico. She sounded magnificent.
