USA Network Golf Theme (2002–2006)
This theme was used for USA Network's coverage of the PGA Tour from 2002 through 2006. This is the alternate "vamp" version of the theme (which removes the main instrumental). I haven't been able to find a clean cut of the main version.

This theme was written by Bob Christianson in 2004, used by ESPN for the duration of its regular PGA Tour coverage through the end of 2006. It continued to be used for coverage of the US Open and Open Championship in 2007.
NFL on CBS Thursday theme (2014-2017)

Some idiot guy in a red, white, and blue outfit starts making rooster noises at the 112th US Open trophy ceremony for champion Webb Simpson. USGA Executive Director Mike Davis pulls him off the green in his suit and tie, and Webb tells the man to "enjoy [his] jail cell".

This is a ROUGH cut of the famous "CBS Golf theme" that was used from 2003 through 2014. I have many different clips which I edited together to create a version that is as close to the real thing as possible. Yes the intro is ripped from the graphical intro but it is only used twice. I apologize for the differing sound qualities, but please try to enjoy the song, because it is a classic.

The full Wipeout theme music from the hit series on ABC Sports. This logo has been used in recent promos and it is based upon the logo of Wipeout Bowl I, which aired opposite Super Bowl XLIII to draw NBC viewers to ABC.

The Edd Kalehoff version of that song, the one I’m guessing you’re asking about, isn’t on my channel but it is here: ruclips.net/video/UxKZttu0pDM/видео.html - it was actually only used as an alternate theme for MNF itself, and ESPN stopped licensing this original version from Kalehoff when they moved the show to cable in 2006. ESPN then used a remix of the song for NFL studio shows starting in 1998, although not for “Primetime”, but then in 2006 it was used for the postseason revival of “Primetime”, which is how it came to be associated with that show, and was used until the early 2010s.

@@candiceball6252 I got you, edited my comment btw as those remixes were indeed used 1998-2005 but not on Primetime, which began using them only during the show’s postseason revival in 2006, and for subsequent postseasons. As far as that remixed theme, it seems the videos you linked are what you are looking for, with the video I linked being the unremixed version. So I’m not sure what version you are looking for

I was not a big golf fan growing up, but this theme is forever ingrained in my head. I must have been 7 or 8 years old when I fell in love with this theme. It just felt very fitting for a sport like golf. The class and prestige just jumps out at you. I hope to pick up the sport as a hobby some day.

My dad loves golf and watches pga tour on cbs. he passed away in may 2014. I will used this theme to remember him r.i.p my dad. i know my dad is up in the most beautiful golf course in heaven. Miss u papa

Composed by Yanni...I don't know why networks change stuff just to change it....don't fight success and what people like....maybe it was some damn copyright or business issue, or bored network executives...I don't even think they have a theme now... When ABC televised all the golf in the 70's and 80's, they used a great Barry White instrumental, I think, and stayed with it until they weren't televising golf regularly anymore .they now only do the British Open Some other great themes. - 1975 NFL Today (only year they had it...the first year of Brent Musberger, Phyllis George, and Irv Cross).. - 1974 & 75 'NBA on CBS' theme. Nothing good on this planet lasts forever..

If you go to the 2008 through 2012 CBS coverage of the Pebble Beach tournament, at the end of one of those they ran an ultra long credit roll playing this song over and over. I started my satellite DVR with the intention of pulling it off and using that to recreate the entire song. But I switched satellite providers and never got it off. But a lot of that music is there in uninterrupted form in excellent quality for the taking, FYI.
