Incredibly disappointing news. I've been following CrossFit for 15 years, and there have been many poor commentators and poorly called events...And I. Mean. Many. Sean is on a VERY short list of commentators who never made me roll my eyes, slap my forehead and yell "Oh c'mon did you really just say that?!" while watching an event. Sometimes I have to turn the sound almost completely off during events because it's better than listening to someone awkward, or someone who spends most of their air time boasting about how much CrossFit and coaching knowledge they have instead of actually calling the event (I'll be polite and not mention that person by name). Sean was professional, skilled, and just plain easy to like while promoting a sport that has been stumbling and crawling its way toward having any credibility in the worlds of both sports and sports media.

Great Video! I’d like to know how these athletes are able to train full time. I know we say that they are sponsored but is there a way to see how much money sponsorships generate? It doesn’t make any sense for anyone to compete in this sport if the payouts continue to be so small.

Next episode should be calling the location and asking for their availability during the games week

Thank you for putting this together. It’s good to know how these athletes rank against each other. Of course, there are factors that you can’t control, but overall, it is helpful. As a big fan of the sport, it makes me that much more excited for the games. Again, thank you for your work.

Bro, the NA west ran stairs for event 1, obviously they’re slower

Each running course was different in distance. Tough to compare scores from event 1 - for example, west had stairs and was closer to 1000m

Love these comparisons so I don't have to somehow put these numbers together myself....this shows how far Tia and Laura are above the rest of the competition.....Tia is the GOAT without question, wow. Eventually father-time will catch up to them, but incredible how fit those two are and have been for the past few years.

Incredibly confusing. So much so that I don’t think anyone pays attention to it. When I think of “rankings” for CrossFit, I think most people just look back at the previous years games finishes. World wide rankings only works if they move back to a regionals format and allow athletes more opportunities to provide scores outside of just the games season
